Campylobacter
WHO and FAO initiated international risk assessment work on Campylobacter in 2001. Two JEMRA meetings have focused on Campylobacter spp. in broiler chickens. In 2009 new work on Salmonella and Campylobacter in chickens was initiated to support ongoing work in the Codex Alimentarius on the management of these pathogens in chickens.
