After the official launch of the Global Alliance for Chronic Respiratory Diseases (GARD), a General Meeting was held on 28 and 29 March 2006 at the Presidential Plaza Hotel, Beijing, People's Republic of China. The General Meeting of the Alliance convened all the collaboration parties.
