Adapting and using the Manual

Manual activities may require adaptation to certain contexts. Core and optional learning activities are indicated throughout the Manual for easy adaptation.

If the Manual will be used to develop or revise a health sector strategy, policy or programme, see Modules 2 and 3 for ways to integrate these documents into group work activities for optimal, practical outcomes.

When possible, regional or country-specific examples and data have been included in the material - developed throughout the piloting phase. Replace these, as necessary, with local examples and data. See below examples and links to see how some regions and countries have adapted and used the Manual.
