Situation and trends
In 2009, 11.5 million doses of vaccines were sent by the ICG to respond to meningitis outbreaks in the African Belt. The International Coordinating Group (ICG) on Vaccine Provision for Epidemic Meningitis Control is a multi-agency partnership, coordinated by WHO
