Note: These results represent averages of those countries for which urban Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) and Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) data were available for coverage of antenatal care (4 visits) during 2005–2013 (Africa=40 countries, LAC=9 countries, Asia-Pacific=23 countries, Eastern Europe=8 countries). As such, they are not representative of the regions as a whole.
