GCM/NCD Communities of Practice
The WHO GCM/NCD is launching its online Communities of Practice (CoPs) in support of implementation of the GCM/NCD Work Plans 2014-2015 and 2016-2017 and advance the achievement of the objectives in the Global Action Plan (GAP) for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases, 2013-2020 and the NCD-related targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Communities of practice are closed networks from a diverse range of stakeholders with expertise in a certain area of the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). CoPs are closed to the general public. The discussions conducted or resources shared on the platform are accessible only to members of the CoP.
Regular updates and documents related to the governance and management structure of GCM/NCD CoPs, including risk management principles, a GCM/NCD CoP Guide will be made available on our website and on a CoP-dedicated homepage.
