Albania
The National ICT Strategy for Albania (2003) includes a number of goals for ICT in Health and Social Services, including: specialised Health IT policies; a national health and social services infrastructure; information provision through health-related websites; and training of health professionals. In 2010, the Ministry of Health published an additional plan that sets out target indicators for development of an Integrated Health Information System and computerization of existing health systems in primary care facilities.
