This is a draft policy to support the implementation of ICT within the healthcare system at the national level It outlines six goals related to systems interoperability, privacy and confidentiality, connectivity, the development of national guidelines, and oversight.

This draft eHealth strategy was completed in 2011; a full strategic plan will be published after the completion of a stakeholder consultation process. It outlines a plan for the national coordination of electronic systems in three overlapping phases: capacity building; infrastructure development; and long-term maintenance and sustainability.
