Latvia
Latvia completed an eHealth strategy in 2005. This strategy defines eHealth's role in achieving strategic healthcare objectives within the national information society framework. The strategy addresses issues related to electronic health records, training of healthcare professionals, service standardization and telemedicine. It also sets out concrete steps to establish political committment, develop plans and guidelines and foster eHealth development projects.
