Global Observatory for eHealth

Survey 2009 figures

The second global survey on eHealth was conducted in late 2009 and was designed to build on the knowledge base generated by the first survey. While the first survey was general and primarily asked questions about the national level, the 2009 survey was designed to be thematic with far more detailed questions used to explore areas particular to eHealth. The survey data and analyses support the strengthening of eHealth policies, the improvement of citizen protection, equity of access and multilingualism, and the promotion of growth in eHealth capacity, tools and services at the country and regional levels. A total of one hundred and fourteen Member States chose to participate.
