Article 8

The Darling Foundation Committee shall be empowered, at least three members being present and after consideration of all nominations made by the Expert Committee on Malaria, to make, by a majority of the members present, a recommendation to the Executive Board regarding the choice for the award of the medal and prize. These shall be presented during a meeting of the World Health Assembly to the recipient or, in his absence, to a person representing him.
