10th Louis-Jeantet lecture
The 10th Louis-Jeantet lecture was held on Tuesday 5 May 2009.
The lecture, entitled "Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Diseases: A Perpetual Challenge", was delivered by Dr Anthony S. Fauci, MD. Dr Fauci is Director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, USA.
This annual lecture is intended to be understood by a non-specialist audience and aims to further public awareness and understanding of scientific and medical developments. The lecture will be delivered in English and there is free admittance to the public.
