Somalia Health Cluster Bulletin No 30 - December 2009
HIGHLIGHTS
- A bomb attack at the graduation ceremony in the medical school of Banadir University (Mogadishu) killed at least 15 and wounded more than 50 people on 3 December.
- One out of 7 samples collected in Banadir Hospital (Mogadishu) tested positive for Vibrio cholerae. This is the only confirmed cholera case reported in the month of December.
- One newly-opened MCH in Hudur town and 5 health posts established in the district are providing health services in the underserved area of Bakool Region.
