Global Health Cluster

The Global Health Cluster, under the leadership of the World Health Organization, is made up of more than 30 international humanitarian health organizations that have been working together over the past four years to build partnerships and mutual understanding and to develop common approaches to humanitarian health action.

Haiti wounded need post-operative care
22 January 2010 -- Thousands of people injured in Haiti's earthquake are receiving intensive surgery to treat their wounds, but great needs exist for appropriate post-operative and nursing care. Preventing wound infection is a major concern, as is ensuring access to water and food for the population.
