OASIS country applications
The OASIS approach has been applied in a number of countries (in chronological order: Benin, Cambodia, France, Mali, Nicaragua, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Uganda, Viet nam). In each country, the health financing system review brought about a thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the health financing system and outlined various options that would help the system move towards universal coverage. In some countries, this is also providing the basis for the development of a health financing strategy.
