Health Academy

eHealth conference in Norway

To ensure that the Health Academy is implemented effectively for local needs WHO collaborates with national Ministries of Health, Telecommunication, and Education as well as non-governmental agencies. Wherever possible, local industry is included to encourage capacity building and sustainability.

WHO invites partners to assist in the expansion of the programme and to equip schools for eLearning. Support of the partners can help to develop and produce these essential courses, as well as adapt them to local cultures and languages. WHO also needs partners to document the impact of Health Academy in many settings.

Technology partners are encouraged to invest in and evaluate other feasible technologies for delivering the academy's courses and its health messages.
