Global Health Estimates (GHE)
The WHO Global Health Estimates provide a comprehensive and comparable assessment of mortality and loss of health due to diseases and injuries for all regions of the world.
The latest WHO assessment of deaths by cause is for the years 2000–2012. Global, regional and country-level summary tabulations are available below, and can also be accessed interactively through the Global Health Observatory. Due to changes in data and some methods, the 2000–2012 estimates are not comparable to previously-released WHO estimates.
