United Republic of Tanzania – 2005/2006
The report summarizes results from the district questionnaire and facility results. Facility results are presented for all districts of Mwanza, Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam region.
Albania – 2005/2006
The report summarizes results from the district questionnaire and facility results.
Rwanda – 2004/2005
The report summarizes results from the district questionnaire and facility results. A census of all public facilities was carried out; private facilities were included for Kigali.
Kenya – 2004
The facility census was carried out in three major urban centers (Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru) as well as in three districts (Thika, Kilifi and Kisumu).
Zambia – 2004
The report summarizes results from the district questionnaire; facility results are presented for Kabwe and Kafue districts.
Uganda – 2004
Uganda was the first country to implement the SAM. Field work took place during the spring and summer of 2004. The report summarizes results from the district questionnaire; facility results are presented for Jinja, Kiboga and Mbarara distrtics.

Clear strategies for the use and dissemination of data are necessary to realize their full value, including the efforts that have gone into their collection. This paper summarizes the results obtained from a number of surveys as well as a series of interviews with decision makers at the global, regional, national and subnational or district level conducted to identify the needs of potential data users.
