MOVE-IT areas of work

Health Metrics Network

Endorsed by the 15th meeting of the HMN Board in June 2010, the HMN MOVE-IT priority strategic initiative consists of three areas of work in which it:

• Develops standards and tools to accelerate data collection and transfer, and facilitates data analysis, sharing and dissemination

• Mobilizes high-level advocacy for policy and institutional support at country, regional and global levels

• Supports country efforts to improve civil registration and vital statistics systems and generates evidence of what works
