APHRC's Health Information System Work
Integrating community-based information systems with routine health information systems:
- Development of computerized HMIS software for use in a community-based health facility situated in an area where there is a demographic surveillance and linking the two systems.
- Integrating DSS data and findings into the assessment of the current Kenya National Health Policy as part of the new policy formulation process.
- National data quality initiatives under the CHeSS platform.
- Working with the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics to use demographic surveillance data to assess census coverage in Kenya.
