The Interim Alliance-Building Task Force, Working Groups, and Secretariat
To facilitate the work of HECA, the following bodies have been established:
- The interim Alliance-Building Task Force (ABTF), established as a result of the first HECA stakeholder meetings held in December 2002 to build on the outcomes of the meetings and develop the alliance further.
- Working groups, composed of members of the ABTF, to deal with key strategic areas for the alliance, such as: structure and governance; prioritizing areas of work; advocacy and communications; and resource mobilization and capacity building.
- The HECA Secretariat, established to serve as the engine and executing body of the Alliance.
The terms of reference, composition and method of work of these three bodies are currently being developed. The following draft documents are relevant to this process:
- Draft - Procedures and Terms (PDF, 39.8KB)
- Draft - Terms of Reference for the Working Groups (PDF, 32.1KB)
