The Health & Human Rights of Indigenous Peoples

WHO's work to improve the health of indigenous populations is located within the Health and Human Rights Team in the Department of Ethics, Trade, Human Rights and Health Law; recognizing the interrelationship between the realization of human rights and the health of indigenous populations.

As WHO's focal point for indigenous peoples' health, the Health and Human Rights Team has recently issued a two-page information sheet, outlining WHO's mandate, priority activities for 2007-2008 and relevant WHO publications.
