This report contains the findings of the HIA which was accomplished on the draft Spatial Development Strategy, known as the London Plan. It is based on a review of health evidence, to which it adds the outcomes of four gatherings for discussion, debate and scrutiny: a meeting of the London Health Commission, a scoping seminar, a policy appraisal workshop, followed by a second meeting of the London Health Commission. The document issues a series of recommendations for action in specific areas.
