Drawing on human capital, natural resources, environmental protection and social capital, this HIA analyses the City of Liverpool's Housing Strategy Statement. Its purpose was to investigate the impact of the Strategy on the health and well-being of residents of Liverpool in order to devise action for maximising health gain and minimising negative impacts on health status.
This final report sets out the process and methods used to carry out the HIA, together with the findings, recommendations and next steps endorsed by the steering group. Topics such as fuel poverty, hazards and security are covered and the results of a previous "rapid HIA" on the same topic are presented.
