The "Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme" (abbreviation: THE PEP) supports the development of national case studies, that provide an evidence base for the integration of health considerations into transport policies.
National assessments of the health effects of transport patterns are available for Austria/France/Switzerland (1999), Sweden (2001) and Italy (2004, 2006).
