Health Impact Assessment (HIA)

WHO collaborating centres on HIA

Collaborating centres form part of an international network carrying out activities in support of WHO’s mandate for international public health and its priorities, including HIA. Collaborating with WHO provides benefits to both WHO and the organization involved. HIA is a new and developing approach in many countries and significant benefit can be gained from a joint approach. Sharing knowledge, resources and skills, creating networks of colleagues and experiencing new ways of working are among the benefits of such collaborations.
