Regional Office for Europe : The HIA methods and strategies programme (HMS)
The programme develops methods and tools for health impact assessments, reviews scientific information and other data sources providing inputs to risk assessment, promotes international, national and local application of the HIA methodology, and supports the development and implementation of policy instruments promoting the use of HIA as a tool for decision-making.

A training course covered basic methods, applications and evidence for HIA. The methodology was applied to the case of HIA of agriculture and nutrition policy and on the implementation of the findings of HIA as part of decision-making.
