The Oxford Textbook of Medicine and 20 CABI e-books now available

HINARI is pleased to announce that users now have access to a growing number of full-text online books via the Reference Sources drop down menu on the Full Text Journals, databases and other resources page. New online books include the Oxford Textbook of Medicine, 5th edition (2010) that has been made available with the support of the Wellcome Trust. The Textbook provides practical guidance on the clinical management and prevention of disease, with in-depth coverage of the traditional specialty areas. The initial page contains an ‘expandable’ table of contents that details the contents of each topic. Also added from CABI are 21 titles in the human health and nutrition sub-set of CAB eBooks. These titles include Applied Mycology, Home Parenteral Nutrition, Integrated Food Safety and Public Health, and Parasitic Flatworms. Users also have access to 15 the American Psychiatric Publishing e-books. The titles include APP Textbooks of General Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology, Substance Abuse, and several Practice Guidelines texts. Along with evidence-based practice resources (e.g. Cochrane Library, EBM Guidelines), HINARI also contains clinical-related resources that are accessed via the Reference Sources drop down menu. We invite you to explore the many resources available.
