For further information, including the Framework for monitoring and reporting, please visit:
WHO, UNICEF and UNAIDS will jointly publish a report in the second half of 2009 on progress in scaling up the health sector response to HIV/AIDS towards universal access, including HIV services for women and children.
In order to better harmonize data collection, validation and analysis for global publications in 2009, WHO, UNICEF and UNAIDS have developed the Joint reporting tool on the health sector response to HIV/AIDS. This tool has been jointly developed by the UN agencies in an effort to harmonize data collection and minimize the reporting burden on countries.
The latest version of the reporting tool is available for download from this page. The tool has been translated into several official United Nations languages. Countries that have not yet begun completing the tool are recommended to download the latest version. The guidance document provides detailed descriptions of the indicators in the reporting tool and is designed to support countries in completing the tool.
