WHO at Mexico 2008
The International AIDS Conference (IAC) is held every two years and brings together some 25,000 scientists, government representatives, health workers, activists, corporate leaders, and people living with HIV and AIDS. It is an opportunity to share new scientific research and engage in dialogue concerning the global response to HIV/AIDS. The theme of this year's conference was "Universal Action Now," emphasizing the need for continued commitment on the part of all stakeholders contributing to the global response to HIV/AIDS - including WHO.
