Patricia Hamweemba is a founding member of the Mumuni Centre, a vibrant local NGO in the Kalomo district, Zambia. Mumuni meaning 'light' runs a mobile voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) team, which organizes AIDS education and home-based care.
Today, Patricia with her VCT team is visiting Sikwaazwa, a remote village. As they reach the village, a large crowd of people sweeps them up in a circle of singing and dancing: 'Mumuni, now that you have come we must all go into that house so that we can be tested!'
