Voices of hope: stories from communities affected by HIV and AIDS
Providing care in the community: Rani's story

Today is volunteers' training day at Arulagam Hospice. The volunteers share their stories, one proposes a new traditional remedy, and another discusses the stigma that keeps HIV underground.

At the end of the long day volunteers head back to their villages. "I am doing this to help the village," says a volunteer called Mary. "There is not a hospital nearby, and so when I heard about the project, I couldn't wait to help. I am very proud to be working for people living with HIV/AIDS."
