Overview

This manual provides current best practice guidance for laboratory HIVDR testing using dried blood spot (DBS). Because specific reagents, supplies or equipment may not always be available or affordable in all areas where genotyping is being performed, three alternative protocols are provided. The manual includes information on how to use this manual; DBS collection and preparation; DBS handling and storage; and validation of HIV DR testing from DBS.
