The recommendations of this meeting are intended to inform the development of the WHO’s normative guidance to countries on how to make best use of existing diagnostic technologies and approaches, as well as to provide initial guidance to assay developers and manufacturers, policy makers, procurers and users on short, medium and longer term product development priorities in HIV-related diagnostics.
