Overview
The World Health Organization’s Global Network HIVResNet, which benefits from technical support of HIV drug resistance (HIVDR) experts worldwide, was formed to address concerns regarding HIVDR emergence and to develop strategies to monitor and prevent HIVDR.
The objectives of this ResNet consultation was to provide an update on the ongoing activities of HIV ResNet, obtain ResNet endorsement for newly developed components in the global HIV drug resistance surveillance and monitoring strategy, and discuss the scenarios to strengthen implementation of the strategy in the future.
