Introduction

The provision of a 28-day course of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs as post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) to prevent HIV infection is a well established intervention for both occupational and non-occupational exposures. We systematically assessed how completion rates differ across population groups and exposure types.
