The objectives of the
workshop were:
- To provide inputs for the draft Strategic Framework for Strengthening
HIV/AIDS and STI surveillance in the African Region, 2002 - 2005
- To provide inputs for the draft HIV Surveillance Report for Africa,
2000
- To share country experiences in the implementation of the Leadership in Fighting an Epidemic (LIFE)
