HIV service delivery
Rapid scaling up of ART will require a profound change in the way that HIV/AIDS services are delivered. HIV/AIDS services must be integrated into the public health system - in many cases, down to primary health care facilities with limited resources - in order to increase access to patients and communities. WHO supports these efforts with generic training materials, technical assistance to countries and regions to adapt such materials into own contexts, provision of training of trainers, and post-training evaluation and monitoring.
