Call for expressions of interest for Round II of the WHO International Scheme to Evaluate Household Water Treatment Technologies

WHO is currently calling for expressions of interest in Round II of the WHO HWT Evaluation Scheme due to commence in July 2015. An “Early Bird” special will be given to those who submit by 12 July and the final deadline has been extended to 15 August.

Why should you have your product evaluated under the Scheme?

  • International reach: Results of the product testing are used to guide national governments and global procuring agencies in the selection of HWT products, and are listed on the WHO website
  • Facilitating national certification: WHO works with national regulatory authorities to ensure that products that are evaluated under the Scheme are fast-tracked for certification
  • Consumer confidence: WHO works with national regulatory authorities to communicate results of testing, product labelling and certifications for products evaluated under the Scheme to ensure consumers understand the protection provided by HWT products and can make informed choices
