In collaboration with the "Treat, Train, Retain" initiative (TTR), the Department of Human Resources for Health works towards developing regulatory frameworks and other specific guidelines for task shifting among health workers involved in the HIV/AIDS treatment. -

Task shifting is the name given to a process of delegation whereby tasks are moved, where appropriate, to less specialized health workers. By reorganizing the workforce in this way, task shifting can make more efficient use of the human resources currently available. -
