Joint WHO/AAAH conference on Getting committed health workers to underserved areas: a challenge for health systems

The main objective of the conference was to exchange ideas, best practices and experiences on attracting and retaining motivated health workers in underserved, remote and rural areas.
The conference was also an opportunity to discuss with policy-makers the first draft of the WHO Global Recommendations on Increasing access to health workers in remote and rural areas through improved retention.
