Award of Merit
The Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety is proud to sponsor the IFCS AWARD OF MERIT. IFCS Awards of Merit are presented at the sessions of the Forum. The prize shall recognize a person(s) or organization(s) for outstanding contributions to international activities in chemical safety.
Any participant in the IFCS, as defined in the Terms of Reference, may put forward the name of any person whose candidature is thought worthy of consideration. All nominations must be accompanied by a written statement of the reasons on which it is based. The same candidature may be submitted on several occasions, if unsuccessful. No condition is made as to the age, sex, profession or nationality of the candidate proposed.
Forum VI presentation of award: Nominations together with the completed candidature form should reach the IFCS Secretariat no later than 15 March 2008.
The complete information and nomination/candidature forms are available in English, French and Spanish along with the information forms in Arabic, Chinese and Russian. For those nominators who speak Arabic, Chinese or Russian, please use the nomination form in the language which is most convenient.

The Prize Committee, composed of the President and Vice Presidents of the Forum, reviews the nominations and forwards its recommendations to the Forum Standing Committee for the final selection.
