Transport of infectious substances
- Organize meeting to "Ensure efficient transport of infectious substances", 12-14 Dec 07
- Develop web-based training tool on transport of infectious substances
- Participate in meetings of the United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (UNCETDG) to further revise and amend the section on infectious substances
- Regularly update WHO's "Guidance on regulations for the transport of infectious substances" to reflect the UNCETDG's adopted revisions
- Advise air mode (ICAO) and road and rail mode (ADR/RID) on adoption of UNCETDG provisions for the safe transport of infectious substances
