| Integrated
Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI),
is a broad strategy that includes a number of
complementary interventions at health facilities
and in communities. The Multi-Country Evaluation
of IMCI Effectiveness, Cost and Impact (MCE)
is designed to determine whether IMCI has a
significant impact on improving child health and
is cost-effective. It is designed also to help
determine the best ways of delivering child
health interventions.
