The lead writer of the document is Dr. Nancy Cox, the former Director for the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Surveillance, Epidemiology and Control of Influenza, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The document was peer reviewed by many other notable experts in influenza vaccine development, evaluation, and safety, as well as by technical experts within WHO.
