WHO's work in family and community health — from birth, through childhood, adolescence, reproductive age, parenthood and older age — addresses in particular Millennium Development Goals 3, 4, 5 and 6. The scope of this work is the focus of this year's exhibit of the Family and Community Health Cluster at the World Health Assembly held on 17-21 May 2010.
24 April - 1 May 2010 - Immunization weeks
In 2010, for the first time, beginning 24 April, 112 countries in the WHO regions of the Americas, Eastern Mediterranean and Europe will host simultaneous immunization weeks. This unprecedented collaborative effort will provide further momentum towards a worldwide immunization week.
