The Government of Bangladesh, with support from the Measles Initiative (www.measlesinitiative.org), conducted a large and successful nationwide measles campaign from 25 February to 16 March.
The Bangladesh measles campaign marked the Measles Initiative’s expansion into Asia. During the past five years, the Measles Initiative has supported African governments in vaccinating more than 200 million children in over 40 African countries.
