Cost and logistics
Measles Initiative
It costs approximately US $1 to vaccinate a child against measles, but for this measles campaign, it only cost US $0.40, thanks primarily to contributions from the Government of Bangladesh.
To cover the 33.5 million children, 40 million doses of measles vaccine, 40 million auto-disable syringes, 4 million reconstitution syringes and 200 000 safety boxes were procured and distributed.
