USAID - Government
USAID feels that training is an important process in the achievement of the international community's immunization goals. Building local capacity is critically important and the global community should make the necessary investments in that process. Only through significant coordination can we take advantage of the skills of every organization in a way that maximizes our effort while minimizing its cost. Numerous training materials have been developed over the history of USAID's involvement in immunization. Specific material is developed for each country activity. Samples can be provided upon request. USAID is currently revising EPI Essentials which has served as an important training tool for many national immunization programs.
