Intellectual Property and Public Health

Incrementally Modified Drugs

Some see these (often known as "me-too" drugs) as desirable in the interests of meeting the needs of diverse sets of patients. Others see them as a wasteful and duplicative use of R&D resources which should be devoted to more innovative purposes.
